Local Editor
Lebanese Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan discussed during the Ministerial Council meeting Wednesday the false witnesses file, wondering who is protecting and financing them, adding that it is the Lebanese people's right to know the answers to these questions.
On another level, Minister Hajj Hassan added that now, not one international envoy of foreign minister does not know what the indictment is, warning of more false witnesses fabrication in light of serving the anti-resistance indictment expected to be issued.
"We will not accept any indictment against anyone in Hizbullah", said Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan.
Furthermore, Hajj Hassan stressed that if false witnesses were not investigated, then the international investigation will not hesitate in exploiting more false witnesses in their course of action.
In the same context, Al Akhbar newspaper reported that during the Ministerial Council's meeting, Minister Hajj Hassan confirmed that Hizbullah has been informed through various sources that the political indictment against it is ready, and diplomats are now discussing with Hizbullah the post-indictment measures.
Minister of Agriculture therefore said that there is no need to wait for the issuance of an indictments if the ones accused are already known, also calling for transferring the false witnesses issue to the Justice Council without any further postponement.
