Local Editor
Mufti of Saida Sheikh Salim Susan assured that Saida will remain to be the gate of resistance and liberation, and will remain to be the land of all nobles, patriotic and people of pride.
During the Eid sermon, Sheikh Susan stressed that Saida does not and will not stab the resistance in its back, nor in its chest. He noted that Saida is very concerned about the unity of the country as well as the unity of its people and institutions, also highlighting the importance of unity and common living between the Muslims and Christians.
Mufti of Saida called on the Lebanese to adopt calm dialogue, as all share the country and no party or side can delete the other. He further said that Saida clings to common living and civil peace, which serves the country's and people's interests.
In addition, he emphasized that "The real adhering to justice comes in the context of stability and understanding rather than provocation and revenge" adding "We do not seek enmity with anyone, and we will not be back stabbers." Sheikh Susan at the end pointed out that Saida considers "Israel" an enemy and an aggressive entity all the way since the beginning".
