Lebanese Army Chief General Jean Qahwaji addressed the Lebanese army soldiers calling upon them to keep an eye on the "Israeli" enemy which is still occupying parts of the Lebanese land, in addition to enhance the cooperation with the UNIFIL to keep the south's stability.

Marking the 76th anniversary of Lebanon's Independence Day, Qahwaji referred that what Lebanon is witnessing of political disparities is part of the democratic life which Lebanon is blessed with.

On the other hand, Army Chief warned of neglecting these disparities and triggering them into incitements, which on their part would threaten lives of the Lebanese and jeopardize the national essentials.

In the same context, General Qahwaji added that political disagreement are solved through political ways, yet the security is a sacred right to each citizen, where it's ones duty to protect it.

Qahwaji further referred that no matter how much sacrifices reached by the Lebanese army on this level, it would remain to be less costly than the price the whole country would pay in case it was driven into a conflict.

Jean Qahwaji declared to the Lebanese army soldiers that their national duty will not be accomplished without their unity and avoiding political incitements.
