Mottaki after Meeting Hariri: Enemies Target Lebanon, See it as New Regional Competitor

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, during his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, brought up the issue of four Iranian diplomats kidnapped in Lebanon in the year 1982, in order to follow up their situation.

According to FARS news agency, Mottaki confirmed to Hariri that the Zionist entity, and since its establishment in the year 1982, has been going after Lebanon, referring that the Zionist aggressions against Lebanon are due to the resistance's solidarity and the army's courage.

Iranian Foreign Minister went on saying that the enemies are targeting Lebanon because they consider it a new regional competitor, in light of its economic enhancement and security stability.

The Iranian Foreign Minister considered that the cooperation between Tehran and Beirut is the factor that makes way for regional cooperation.

Minister Mottaki also clarified that using the suitable elements to achieve the cooperation goal, needs joint efforts between the countries of the region.
