Jumblatt: Turkish Stance Restored Bond with Major Arab-’’Israeli’’ Conflict
Local Editor
Head of Democratic Gathering MP Walid Jumblatt praised during his interview with Al Binaa newspaper, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyeb Erdogan's visit to Lebanon, and his stances which the latter affirmed in light of these delicate circumstances in the region.
In this context, MP Jumblatt said that this confirmed Turkey's stance with the support of Lebanon's stability, national unity and civil peace.
Furthermore, MP Walid Jumblatt said that the Turkish stance came to get Lebanon out of the sectarian tension lived in Lebanon.
Jumblatt added that this stance has restored the historical bond with the major conflict in the region, which is the Palestinian cause, and the Arab-"Israeli" conflict.
On this level, Head of Democratic Gathering referred that this conflict started adopting different shapes with the ongoing settlement schemes in Palestine, in addition to the Zionist attempts in sabotaging the holy city of Al Quds (Jerusalem), and other occupied Palestinian cities.
