Hariri Kicks off Three Day Visit to France in Effort to Solve Lebanon’s Crisis

Prime Minister Saad Hariri starts a three-day official visit to Paris on Tuesday in what is seen as the most significant step in international efforts aimed at stirring Lebanon away from its crisis.

French diplomatic sources said that Hariri's meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy over lunch will take place in the Elysee Palace.

During his stay in Paris, Hariri will also hold talks with his French counterpart Francois Fillon and Foreign Minister Michele Alliot-Marie.

PM Hariri, according to sources, will then travel to Turkey at the end of the week on a bisuness trip.
