MP Moqdad: Lebanon to Face Real Threat after Indictment Issuance

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member Ali Moqdad considered that the indictment has been issued in a divided way, through leaks in a couple of media outlets, even if it hasn't yet been issued officially.

Moqdad confirmed that confronting the indictment would occur through the unity of the Lebanese stance, adding that the national duty is to achieve the country's stability, calling for adopting a total national Lebanese stance.

In an interview, MP Moqdad affirmed that the International Investigation Committee is an intelligence tool to defeat the resistance, stressing that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon's (STL) aim is to trigger a Sunni-Shiite conflict between the Lebanese.

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member said that building accusations based on phone calls has failed 100%, adding that building accusations based on false witnesses has also failed a long time ago.

In this context, MP Moqdad thus concluded that there is no more an indictment, and it has failed in the eyes of all the Lebanese, adding that if there were an international public opinion or UN stance, then "Israel" wouldn't have killed 1400 people killed in the July 2006 war.

Concerning Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri's visit to Iran, Moqdad praised the meeting which joined Lebanese PM and Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, referring that it is now clear that Iran is supportive to Lebanon in all means and does not distinguish between one party and another.

On the same level, MP Ali Moqdad confirmed that Iran as a country seeks Lebanon's stability, stressing that "Israel" is the enemy that Lebanon should be protected from.

Furthermore, MP Moqdad reaffirmed that Lebanon will face a real threat after the indictment's issuance, in case the Lebanese were not adjust to it, referring that the internal Lebanese situation relies on the Saudi-Syrian efforts.
