Deputy Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem asserted there are signs indicating the indictment will be issued soon, noting "We are in a race with time so that the Syrian-Saudi efforts reap its efforts before the issuance of the indictment. His Eminence further said "We are not discussing the issuance of the indictment; we rather are discussing a conspiracy against Hizbullah, and therefore, it is not as simple as some think."

In an interview with "Sada Al Balad" newspaper, Sheikh Qassem considered that "the Lebanese Prime Minister holds responsibility of this issue; especially that he has the ability to strongly call for the stability and interest of Lebanon. His Eminence noted that PM Hariri knows what is right, and he knows best how to stop this farce of accusing Hizbullah," adding "that this could be the only way that could solve the issue."
