Hashem to Intiqad: Lucid Apology Required From Conspirators Exposed By Wikileaks

Member of the Development and Liberation Bloc, MP Kassem Hashem praised the stance of MP Walid Jumblatt, who acknowledged the leaks of the whistleblower website were true. Hashem noted "This is how things should work, based on national fundamentals."

MP Hashem stated that those conspirators should have the courage to apologize for the mistakes they have committed.

In a statement to AlIntiqad, Hashem pointed out that "Some in this country have wagered and still wager on the relation with the American stance, and wager on the dignity of the country through targeting the resistance." 

Hashem asked "Shouldn't those who care about the country on the political, legal, and judicial levels, should hold those conspirators responsible for what they did or said?" 

He further noted "Some in Lebanon still wager on sharing common interests with foreign sides that at the end, serve the enemies of Lebanon."
