Williams: Lebanon’s Crisis Solved through Dialogue, Stability between the Lebanese
Local Editor
Michael Williams, UN Secretary General Special Coordinator for Lebanon praised the Lebanese politicians' efforts that aim at finding a solution to decrease the current tension.
Williams hoped that Lebanese parties will be able to overcome the political crisis, which affects the framework of the government.
After meeting with Minister of Labor Boutros Hareb, Williams confirmed that it is important to resolve the current crisis, adding that the solution relies on the Lebanese themselves.
The UN Special Coordinator also added that the best way into resolving the crisis is through constant dialogue and stability of the Lebanese government institutions.
On another hand, Michael Williams praised the noticeable progress achieved since last year; in reference to the Lebanese government adopting suitable measures so that Palestinian refugees will take part in the Lebanese labor market.
