Sheikh Qassem: Lebanon’s Strength Today Lies in its Army, People, and Resistance

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem confirmed that in Lebanon, people are living in the blessings of the resistance's success.
"Hizbullah has become a special force on the military, moral, political, social, and humanitarian levels, and this is the blessing of the path which it chose", Sheikh Qassem said.
Sheikh Qassem referred that the other team discovered that Hizbullah and its allies have become an obstacle in front of the US and "Israeli" scheme, so they decided to defeat and exterminate Hizbullah.
"They think that the power they possess could accomplish their equation, but they do not know that the power of faith that Hizbullah possesses is worth their schemes, and keeps Hizbullah strong, and then their schemes will all be defeated", His Eminence affirmed.
Sheikh Qassem stated that when PM Rafiq Hariri was assassination, the enemy failed in exploiting this assassination and changing the equation in Lebanon.
Sheikh Naim Qassem also added that the enemy also failed in the July war, where "Israel" was defeated and Hizbullah achieved victory.
"The enemy failed in triggering internal conflicts, and Hizbullah succeeded in enhancing national unity", Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General referred.
His Eminence Sheikh Naim also said, "Today they believe that the tribunal of international characteristics is a card through which the enemy could delete Hizbullah, and affect its existence and presence".
"The enemy is delusional, because Hizbullah stood still before the July 2006 aggression, so the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) will be like a little pebble compared to the mountain confronted in the July war", Sheikh Qassem confirmed.
Sheikh Qassem addressed the other team, saying that they shouldn't false accuse Hizbullah, because the truth will be revealed.
His Eminence further warned them from taking part as tools in the US and "Israeli" schemes,
clarifying that the US and "Israel" do not care but for their own interests.
"After the media and private leaks which almost published the content of the indictment, what is there still for the indictment to be issues?" Sheikh Qassem wondered, adding that everything has been almost announced.
In this context, His Eminence stated the failures of the indictment before its issuance:
First, they expected to confuse and weaken Hizbullah and its allies, but Hizbullah became stronger.
Hizbullah revealed the truth about the background of the tribunal and its US-"Israeli" aims, which depended on the false witnesses, and are still depending on those who fabricated the false witnesses, through fabricating reports and giving the tribunal false evidences.
The truth about the tribunal is now clear, for it no longer has any affect after the "Israel"-accusing evidences were presented, and after revealing the telecommunications violations, presenting legal evidences, and discovering the "Israeli" espionage operations.
Second, they expected that Hizbullah would get involved in an internal conflict, yet they were surprised that Hizbullah confronted the sectarian and factorial incitements, and Hizbullah will remain as such.
Sheikh Qassem said that this affirmed that there will be no conflict in Lebanon, because Hizbullah will work on what is best for Lebanon's interests, and it will always support national unity and cooperation and will not allow any sectarian division.
Hizbullah calls for a unified Lebanon, built on the sacred equation of the people, army, and resistance in order to confront all challenges.
Hizbullah will not allow having any sect to control Lebanon, for Hizbullah and all the Lebanese people are concerned with their country.
Third, they expected the resistance to be distracted with international issues and then get out of its path, but it is clear now that the resistance is ongoing with its readiness and strength, and will always be prepared, not being distracted with the internal issues.
The resistance is ready to confront any "Israeli" aggression, or aggressions of other sources, on the basis that Lebanon is strong with its army, people, and resistance.
Lebanon is no longer allowed to be weak as it were before, for Lebanon has had enough with the stage where Lebanon's strength lies in its weakness.
Today, Lebanon's strength lies in its army, people, and resistance, and it will remain strong, and Hizbullah will protect this strength.
On the other hand, Sheikh Qassem wondered about the tribunal that doesn't notice "Israel" and its constant violations of the Lebanese airspace.
Sheikh Naim Qassem referred that the "Israeli" enemy monitors everything in Lebanon, including writing reports and analyzing them, conducting espionage operations in houses and on personal affairs through the telecommunication network.
Sheikh Qassem also included the "Israeli" agents, 150 of which were arrested by the resistance and the intelligence firms, in addition to the "Israeli" crime of installing espionage devices in Sanin and Barouk and other regions in Lebanon.
"Doesn't that call the tribunal to summon "Israel" to investigate with it on what it has committed? This is evidence that the tribunal is "Israeli", and does not aim at revealing the truth." Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General stressed.
Sheikh Naim Qassem wondered why the STL wouldn't investigate with "Israel", and why wouldn't it take evidences accusing "Israel", and let is prove its innocence.
