Raad Calls on Lebanese to Confront “Israeli” Attempts to Violate Lebanon’s Sovereignty

Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad noted that "Hizbullah hopes that the year 2010 be a chance to build Lebanon into a strong country of a united people, who hold tight onto its politics and capability to stand in face of challenges".

He also said "Hizbullah hopes this year would be a year of time investment and productive work which interprets the national ambition that plays an effective role in the region".

In a statement to As-Safir daily on Friday, Raad hoped that "The Lebanese witness the fruits of the Syrian-Saudi effort at the beginning of the new year, in absence of any outside conspiracies whether through war, international tribunals or false indictments".

On the ongoing "Israeli" violations and aggressions against Lebanon and Palestine and its blatant breaching to international laws, Raad stated "We hope that all the Lebanese people be determined to confront the "Israeli" attempts to violate Lebanon's sovereignty on the different levels, whether air, land, or sea violations," adding "they (the Lebanese) should fortify their society against the violations, the (espionage) rings that exposes Lebanon on the security as well as economic level".

Raad concluded "we finally hope that the Lebanese become more aware of that their unity is the means to their strength, and that their strength is the source of international respect to them and their country".
