Development and Liberation Parliamentary Bloc MP Ghazi Zaiter confirmed that the latest "Israeli" threat against Lebanon, concerning banning it from oil drilling in its discovered maritime oil fields, only reflects the Zionist aggressive intentions that constantly threat Lebanon.

In an interview with An-Nour radio station, MP Zaiter called for establishing a ministerial emergency committee to examine the oil drilling mechanisms.

Zaiter affirmed that this issue should not be discussed in the ministerial council meetings, for the meetings have the priority of discussing the false witnesses' issue.

Development and Liberation MP stressed on the importance of tackling the oil fields' issue, after the government has delayed the issuance of oil law decrees.

In this context, MP Ghazi Zaiter affirmed that the said issue calls for a Lebanese diplomatic alert in international assemblies, to defend Lebanon's right to maritime oil resources.
