Sheikh Qassem Praises Egyptian Uprising, Says Miqati’s Designation to PM Represents Parliamentary, Popular Majority

Deputy Hizbullah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that assigning PM Najim Miqati to form the government is the choice of the parliamentary and popular majority, which seeks to save the country and protect it from foreign dangers, especially the Zionist threat.

Sheikh Qassem referred that the majority also aims at tackling the people's social and economic issues, in addition to putting an end to the corruption on the country.

During a political meeting on Monday with Maan Bashour, in presence of Member of Hizbullah Political Council Mahmoud Qoumati, Sheikh Qassem referred that the assigned PM has broad internal and foreign relations, in addition to a Lebanese acceptance.

Hizbullah Secretary General added there is no doubt that Lebanon, its resistance, army, and people need this type of change at this stage.

Sheikh Qassem added that Hizbullah agrees with the participation of all parties in the government without any exception, stressing on the livelihood issues, in addition to developing services that enhance the Lebanese economic growth.

"Lebanon today is stronger than before, where all conflict bargains fell back", Sheikh Naim Qassem affirmed.

He added that Lebanon has proved its firmness before the US schemes, which also were met with many confrontations in the region, adding that Lebanon has embraced the resistance.

In this context, His Eminence Sheikh Qassem also praised the Egyptian resisting people, who have presented an example for refusing any normalization with "Israel", to achieve their longing to be free and independent.
