Berri Favors Participation of All Sides in Government without Setting Prior Conditions on Shares

Speaker Nabih Berri declared Wednesday that he favored the participation of all parties in the government without setting prior conditions on the shares of each side.
Following talks with President Michel Suleiman at the Baabda palace, Berri said that "all former opposition parties support the premier-designate."
The March 8 forces also announce their cooperation with Najib Miqati "to form a national salvation government," he said.
In this context, Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Ali Mokdad considered there are no blocks on anyone in the consultations in forming the new government.
In an interview with Al Intiqad online newspaper, Mokdad stated that the situations are good, and the decision of the March 14 coalition's participation in the government concerns with that team itself.
On his part, Development and Liberation Bloc MP Ali Bazzi said his team prefers there would be a formation of a partnership and national salvation government, stressing that March 8 does not have any problem related to the ministries and portfolios.
On another hand, Change and Reform Bloc MP Abbass Hachem believed that it is still the normal time for the consultations in forming the government, confirming that all who commit to the national speech are considered to be the majority.
