Hizbullah political bureau member Mahmoud Qomati called on all parties participating in the National Coalition government to safeguard the country. He noted this government's task is to build a strong country reinforced with its Resistance and army.

"Whether or not there is participation from all parties, we are keen on presenting a political model and a successful experience to the Lebanese people who suffered a lot and proved to be very patient, particularly on the social and economic levels," Qomati said.

During a memorial service, Qomati asked "What has a certain Lebanese party, and some Arab regimes (that are falling apart today) wagering on foreign and US support achieve other than failure and consecutive losses?"

He further noted "A new phase is being drawn for Lebanon and the region." He added that those who understand the situation should realize they have to make serious and correct decisions in light of the current crucial developments; otherwise they will reap nothing but failure and will arrive to the end of their political life.

Concerning the current situation in the region, Qomati said that "the Uprising of the Arab people everywhere are the result of political decisions made by these regimes in support of the US and "Israel"."

He finally called on the peoples to have enough awareness and competence to stay aware from all the US attempts that aim at failing the uprising.
