MP Raad: Lebanon’s Power Lies in its Army, People, Resistance
Local Editor
Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad considered that the new slogan of the opposition [March 14 camp] is "the tribunal and the arms".
In this context, MP Raad said that these slogans were the reason to drive them out of the authority, adding that if they insisted on returning to their previous positions, this means that they did not reconsider their methods in tackling issues.
Furthermore, MP Mohammad Raad stated that the March 8 coalition has always called upon March 14 to cooperate with them in order to run the country, with what meets its interests and keeps out the arrogant powers from interfering in the Lebanese affairs.
On the level of government formation, MP Raad considered that if PM-designate Najib Mikati was late in forming it, it would be because he is waiting for March 14 to reconsider their decision and cooperate to participate in the new government.
Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc confirmed that each government to be formed takes it time, where the PM-designate discusses his perspectives with the parliamentary blocs and political forces, such a way the government would meet the people's expectations.
MP Raad referred that before, it took former PM Foad Siniora 5 months to form his government, stating that PM-designate Mikati is still in the normal time period to form the government.
MP Mohammad Raad hoped the new government would meet the interests of Lebanon, which its power is in its army, people and resistance. He also added that Lebanon refuses the dominating economic and political policies, and refuses the notion of conciliation with the "Israeli" enemy.
