Hizbullah Foreign Relations Official: Arab Regimes Have No Choice But Listen to People’s Demands

Hizbullah Foreign Relations Official, Sheikh Ali Damoush, confirmed that what is happening in the Arab countries came as a result of the awakening that has been witnessed by the region because of poverty, unemployment, and oppression policies practiced by the regimes against the peoples.

Sheikh Damoush considered that these policies, in addition to the follow-ship policies to the US and "Israel", represent common factors between the Arab regimes.

He stressed these policies are condemned by the peoples, as they believe they [the policies] are the main reason behind their deterioration.

Furthermore, the Hizbullah official added that the oppressing, killing, and massacring policies practiced against the civilian protesters in Bahrain, Libya, and Yemen, do not protect powers or attain security or stability, but rather reaffirms the people's consistency and conviction regarding their choices.

On this level, Sheikh Ali Damoush pointed out there is no choice before these regimes but to listen to their people's demands, seeking change and escape from the foreign fellow-ship status.
