Fayyad: Bellemare’s Demands Evidence that STL Violates Lebanon’s National Security

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member MP Ali Fayyad said that the STL general prosecutor Daniel Bellemare's latest requests is additional evidence against the tribunal, noting that this evidence proves the STL has already totally over passed its mission on the Rafik Hariri assassination to violate Lebanon's national security.

He further lambasted the STL requests, pointing out that it has become evident that those in hold of the international decision are allies to "Israeli" particularly in the confrontation between Lebanon and the Zionist entity. "Since the US and the West hold grip on the UNSC and the international organizations, they are bias towards "Israel" against the resistance," Fayyad said, stressing that there is nothing such as international justice, rather this justice is being politicized and used as a tool of pressure and conflict in international relations.

During a memorial service in Marjeyoun, Fayyad considered "The international tribunals have become tools in the Hand of America in international conflicts, just like the case is in categorizing who is a terrorist and who is no, which is also the task of international resolution issued by the Security Council."
He further stressed "There are American interests, and the US uses the tools against its enemies using so-called international justice, also using political pressure."

The MP reiterated accused Americans and their allies of resorting to double-standards and vetoing a recent UN resolution condemning "Israeli" colonization activities in Palestine.
He concluded on recalling both Qana massacres perpetrated by Israel when the US deposed Boutros Ghali for daring to launch an official inquiry into the massacres.
