Moussawi: International Tribunal an American- “Israeli” Aggression on Lebanon’s Sovereignty

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi assured that the international tribunal is an American-"Israeli" aggression against Lebanon's sovereignty as well as against the national security, unity, dignity of the Lebanese as well as against the country's independence.
Moussawi noted that this aggression has adopted the Lebanese politics as a tool to impose tyranny and oppress freedoms also a tool to practice security, judicial, political, intellectual and media terrorism and target the major pillars of national economy.
During a ceremony commemorating teahcers' day in the Imam Khomeini cultural center, MP Moussawi lambasted the sectarian instigation of which a certain political party resorted to in Lebanon. In a political reading to the current developments in the Arab world and the region, the MP noted that these developments have enhanced the strength of the resistance in general and added core elements of strength to the resistance in Lebanon as well as in Palestine.
Moussawi also considered that the Arab revolutions have established the concept of resistance, describing it as a liberation to the wills of the people from the regimes of hegemony and tyranny, and an active national decision particularly in face of the hegemony of the "American Emperor and the "Israeli" aggression".
"The consecutive revolutions spreading throughout the Arab world reaching the results of these revolutions have led to strategic changes that harmed the American, "Israeli", and domestic systems of despotism," the MP stressed.
On the Lebanese level, MP Moussawi pointed out that the speeches instigating incitement target the brave step of the Parliament members who face political, security, and internal threats every day. He further reiterated that such speeches aim at blackmailing the Lebanese people. "Some in Lebanon stir strife and tension through sectarianism, by that piquing the feelings of the people through disgusting methods, also through adopting the so-called Special Tribunal for Lebanon which in fact is an American tribunal of "Israeli" interests," Moussawi criticized.
He explained that the response to such incitement would be silence and indifference even if pressure mounts, adding that the focus should be on liberating Lebanon from American-"Israeli" control which adopts the international tribunal as a tool after they failed to use the military and political options owing to the resistance victory in 2006.
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member went on to say that this tool (the STL) is an American-"Israeli aggression on the national security of Lebanon, particularly because the investigations aim at obtaining private information and data related to all the Lebanese people and Lebanese situation as well as related to all its different sectors, whether economic, educational, social, or political.
"The biggest threat to Lebanon, its freedoms, liberties, sovereignty and independence is this international tribunal which was established upon an American decision to realize "Israeli" goals. And what makes this tribunal more dangerous is that a certain party in Lebanon got involved in it and exposed Lebanon before this American-"Israeli" aggression embodied in the STL and its protocol which was signed in absence of the constitution and the convention of National Unity. Therefore, this tribunal is an aggression against the Lebanese constitution and against the convention as well as against mutual living and national unity," Moussawi stated.
Ending his speech, Moussawi stressed "Lebanon, with its resistance and people has been stronger than the "Israeli" enemy in the different stages and forms, and today, we see that the Arab path of resistance is stronger in facing all the new forms of aggression."
