Faisal Karameh: New Government Must Protect, Support Resistance
Local Editor
Head of Executive Board of the Arab Liberation Party, Faisal Karameh called on the formation of a government that sprouts from the will of the majority in the Lebanese Parliament, in such a way that includes all sides, stressing on the importance of a strong government rich with competencies.
In a statement to Al Thawra Syrian newspaper, Karameh pointed out "The government should be in a position where it defends the resistance, and preserve it on the domestic, regional and international levels, also provide its needs to enhance Lebanon's steadfast in face of the ongoing "Israeli" aggressions." He also noted that the recurrence of the provocative speech against the resistance arms cannot be justified.
Karameh also emphasized "a political disagreement does not justify that any of us give space to "Israel", the US and the resistance enemies to invest our internal disputes." He further considered "The coming government faces a set of challenges featured in the economic and social issues in first place," urging the government to fight corruption and launch reform campaigns on the political and social levels of the country.
