Raad: We Look Forward To Unifying Speech, Resume Dialogue

A high ranking delegation from the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc arrived to Bkerki to congratulate the newly elected Maronite Patriarch Beshara Al Rai. The delegation delivered the greetings of Hizbullah SG Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and congratulated Al Rai on his behalf.

After the close meeting between Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai and Hizbullah delegation, MP Raad said "Our visit today comes in context of felicitating the Lebanese in general and Christians in particular on the election of Patriarch Rai, and we wish him luck in his mission hoping for a speech which helps unifying the Lebanese."

Answering a question, Raad added "We feel positive about the slogan of the Patriarch which is ‘sharing and love' among the Lebanese".

The Hizbullah delegation included MPs from the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc including MPs Nawwar Saheli, Ali Ammar, Ali Fayyad, and Hizbullah politburo Ghaleb Abu Zeinab.
