Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem considered that what is happening on the Lebanese level clearly reveals that the March 14 team cannot abide by the rules, the Taef accord, the political choice, or the constitutional mechanisms.
He added that the evidence goes back to the 2009 elections, "In which we accepted the results, where we lost the parliamentary majority but the situation passed by normally, and nothing occurred in the country, despite all who said that Hizbullah will have negative actions, and will pressure others".
His Eminence reiterated that the elections' results were accepted, and the situation went on naturally, and the government was formed as it should be.
Sheikh Qassem said that when the parliamentary majority changed, so did the Lebanese status, because the other team's concerns to be the heads of power made them not accept any solution.
Qassem clarified that from the first day, their [March 14] chaos and day of rage began, and so did expressions which proved they wanted to sabotage the country, despite what government will be formed.
Regarding the March 13 rally, His Eminence Sheikh Qassem pointed out, "We didn't find this rally anything worth response, because we did not hear any political stance requiring negotiations, nor were we before a project that requires dialogue".
"We were not involved in what they said, that is why we did not respond", Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General affirmed.
On the level of the Wikileaks scandals published by Al Akhbar newspaper, Sheikh Naim Qassem said, "There was a US incitement, and thus an "Israeli" one to defeat Hizbullah. They warned that if Hizbullah won a battle, it would mean Hizbullah would achieve many acquirements, not including "Israel" in our country".
"The "Israeli" peace and security were the main concerns, where they warned of a Hizbullah victory, and some sides suggested an occupation of Bint Jbeil, while others suggested a land attack that would reach northern the Laytani river, in order to disarm the region. On the other hand, some other parties suggested freezing all battled until Hizbullah is forced to implement resolution 1559", Sheikh Naim Qassem clarified.
He further wondered, "How do they take action in Lebanon, while they are trying to give free services to "Israel", so that the latter would assault the Lebanese civilians, and to represent the political majority with "Israeli" tools?"
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General confirmed that the resistance has become installed in the roots of Lebanon, and it is a choice which imposed its effects on the whole Arab region.
He further added that the revolutions occurring today are a result of the resistance's blessings, which illustrated "the victory of the few over the many, the victory of blood over the sword, and the victory of the resistance notion over the arrogant occupying scheme".
"These were what encouraged the revolutions to rise, and they are popular revolutions compatible with the resistance and its powers", Sheikh Qassem reaffirmed.
His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem referred to that the US is anxious to meet some of its interests in these revolutions, but events are moving fast and the nations are achieving bigger accomplishments.
"Hopefully that the resistance has overcome all threats or worries, making it an important part of Lebanon, its future, and power", Sheikh Qassem said.
