Sheikh Qassem Receives ICRC Mission, Calls for Revealing Fate of Detainees in “Israeli” Prisons

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem received a delegation from The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), headed by head of the mission in African and Middle East Beatrice Megevand Roggo, along with head of the mission in Lebanon George Comninos.
The meeting was also in presence of Hizbullah Head of Liaison and coordination Units Wafiq Safa, where there were discussions over political issued on the Lebanese and regional levels.
Sheikh Qassem on his part confirmed the importance of cooperating with the ICRC regarding highly important humanitarian issues, referring to the human view of Islam. He also discussed the inhumane results, caused by the "Israeli" enemy by its occupations and aggressions.
Furthermore, Sheikh Naim Qassen demanded to know the fate of the Lebanese who are still missing and detained by "Israel, especially those whom their parents have letters from them delivered by the ICRC.
On her behalf, head of the ICRC mission promised to follow up this issue with great concern until a result is reached.
