Al Manar TV reported that the Lebanese Forces (LF) Student Association was granted membership in the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU), and it's a position attained by votes of the member states, one of which is the Zionist entity.

According to its official website, the LF stated that it is the only IYDU member in the Middle East, without mentioning that "Israel" too is a member, and is represented by the Likud party. The website added that the IYDU had held a conference in Lebanon, hosted by the party's Students Association.
On the website, there are pictures of the "Israeli" representative with the LF representative, along with other participants.

In this context, Wissam Habchi, LF department of foreign affairs chairman, said that after talks that lasted more than 3 years between his party's students association and the IYDU, and after participating in many of the union's conferences around the globe, the LF achieved accomplishment in attaining full membership of the IYDU.
Habchi stated that this is the first time a party from the Middle East represents the union and attains full membership.

According to the LF official website, Habchi clarified that what's most important is that the LF will be represented in the IYDU's higher council, which constitutes the main member states, including Britain, the USA, and Germany.
LF department of foreign affairs chairman did not mentioned that "Israel" is also one of the higher council member states.

Furthermore, the LF official website also declared that the LF Students Association hosted an IYDU delegation, which on its part visited the March 14 Forces Secretariat, where the delegation met with the Coordinator Fares Soueid and discussed latest political updates on the Lebanese and regional levels.
