The regular meeting between the Islamic Jamaa and Hizbullah's leaderships was held Tuesday in Hizbullah Political Council headquarters.
The meeting was held in presence of Islamic Jamaa Political Council members Bassam Hamoud and Hussein Hamadeh, and Hizbullah Political Council members Abdul Majid Ammar, and Mohammad Saleh.

At the end of the meeting, both parties issued the following joint statement:

1- The parties praise the Arab popular uprising, which expresses the originality of the good conscience rising for its right to live in countries full of freedoms. They call for achieving more reforms to guarantee the Arab stability in confronting the Zionist threats which persist in Judaizing Al Quds (Jerusalem), expanding settlement activities, and daily killing in Gaza and across the Palestinian territories.

2- The parties meeting also warned from the threats of foreign meddling in the Arab and Islamic world, conspiring against the popular efforts and trying to arrogantly exploit their sacrifices in scandalous conspiracies, which seek control of the nation's goods and capabilities.

3- Hizbullah and the Islamic Jamaa demand a quick formation of the government, in order to achieve what the Lebanese hope for, regarding political and social stability.
