In response to the provocative Stance of Future Party leader and caretaker PM Saad Hariri, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

"The provocative stances made by head of the Future Party Saad Hariri against the Islamic Republic of Iran were an interpretation of the latest stances of the US War Minister Robert Gates from Riyadh concerning the Iranian role in the region.

These stances come in context of a blatant attempt to conceal the US interference in the region's affairs as well as a bid to confiscate the people's will for freedom and their intention to get rid of the US hegemony, also to divert attention from the "Israeli" enemy's persistence in its aggressive practices against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank along with its aim to judaize Al Quds (Jerusalem).

The stances made by Hariri do not reflect the position of Lebanon, its role or interests. These rather are consistent with the goals of the American scheme, aimed at creating sedition and strife among the peoples of the region. Also, (these aim at) changing the direction of the conflict with the "Israeli" enemy in service of the American scheme, which started to fall apart since the "Israeli" army's defeat in July 2006, on which Hariri was betting on to turn Lebanon into an American-"Israeli" protectorate, as revealed the Wikileaks cables."

Also, in response to the caretaker PM Saad Hariri's stances on the suffering of the Lebanese people in Ivory Coast, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

"Hariri's claims that the policy adopted since the crisis started is foolish and is another desperate attempt to escape from his responsibilities as the head of the caretaker government, after he entirely turned his back to such a national cause and let go the simplest role he should assume. So, where was the head of this government throughout the crisis and what did he do to resolve it? Why did he turn deaf ears to the appeals and demands of the Lebanese people in Ivory Coast and didn't act as a responsible concerned with the situation of his people?

As for his very humble move, it came as a shy response to the quick development of events and to the latest political and popular moves. The policy that was adopted since the beginning is the one that protected the Lebanese from many dangers. If it were not for this policy, the Lebanese would have faced a worse and more serious situation. The national responsibility and wise policy requires serious work to help the Lebanese rather than opening debates by Hariri and his team to exploit the pain of these Lebanese people in internal politics. This again proves the team's maliciousness in dealing with national causes at the expense of the Lebanese and their pain."
