“Israeli” Missiles Kill Five Palestinians Injure Tens by “Israeli” Missiles in Gaza

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday that five Palestinians were martyred and tens of residents, including children, were wounded. The casualties took place in attacks aimed at different sections of the coastal sliver.
The casualties were inflicted on Thursday when "Israeli" forces attacked sites in and around the Gaza City in the north and hit targets in the southern cities of Rafah and Khan Younis, reported AFP.
Palestinian medical sources said eight people sustained injuries after shell fragments hit an ambulance. The attacks followed earlier raids on the Gaza City and Jabaliya refugee camp, also located in the north, killing a 50-year-old male and injuring several others.
Altogether, 34 Palestinians were injured during the military offensives by "Israeli" forces.
Furthermore, the Al Qassam Brigades of Hamas fired shells at the Sofa military base, near the Gaza border.
The Brigades said that attack comes in retaliation to the assassination of three fighters who were killed in an "Israeli" air strike in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist regime has been repeatedly bombarding Gaza ever since its 22-day war on the impoverished enclave in December 2008 and January 2009, which killed more than 1,400 Palestinians and inflicted a damage of 1.6 billion dollars on the region's already-stagnant economy.
