National Parties and Forces: Hariri Stances Not National, Resistance Weapons not for Bargain

The Lebanese National Parties and Forces considered caretaker PM Saad Hariri's stances as "not national and irresponsible," saying that it constitutes decisive evidence to the decline to which Lebanon has arrived to due to Hariri's policy and bloc. In a statement, the parties assured that with such stances, Hariri chose to be the spokesman of the US scheme in the region. The statement assured Iran's positive role in Lebanon and the region saying "the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood by Lebanon and has greatly contributed in reconstructing what the "Israel" destructed during its aggression in 2006."

The statement went on to say "Iran also several times proposed to help Lebanon on the different levels and to equip the Lebanese army without anything in return, only so that it would be able to defend itself in face of the ongoing "Israeli" aggressions. Hence, Iran's offerings are not interference in Lebanon's affairs, and its proposals do not make Lebanon an Iranian protectorate as Hariri claims. It rather pushes Lebanon into thanking Iran for all it has presented, away from any US custody or foreign dictations that pour into the service of "Israel"."

The statement issued by the parties also stressed that "The resistance and its weapons will not be the subject of bargain or dialogue from now on, on any table and under any circumstance, particularly in light of the "Israeli" usurper entity's existence."
