MP Fayyad Urges March 14 Followers to Examine Wikileaks Cables Then Judge the Situation from National Position

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Ali Fayyed called upon the March 14 followers to carefully read and examine the Wikileaks cables, so they would then be capable of judging the situation in accordance with their national affiliation and responsibilities towards their country.

Fayyad believed, "There is not one national, responsible and honest individual who would approve the stances, notions, and dependences expressed by some Lebanese, according to the same cables [Wikileaks]".
On another hand, MP Ali Fayyad affirmed that the "Israeli" enemy represents a threat to Lebanon at all times; time of war or not. "The enemy tried in the past few days to incite and escalate the situation, in order to intimidate the Lebanese people", Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP stated.

Furthermore, MP Fayyad added, "That does not change anything in the will of our people and their insistence to resist as a final resort, because the need for resistance is increasing and not falling back, and the "Israeli" threat does not only include this country's security, but also includes its water and oil resources. Therefore we have no choice but holding on to this resistance".

In the same context, MP Fayyad clarified that despite the enemy's threats, there are no signs of a soon to come war. He also noted, "The resistance is as it always was, ready to defend this country, and it is taking the "Israeli" threats into consideration as if war will occur tomorrow".
