Ahmadinejad to Berri: Iran-Lebanon Solidarity Thwarts Enemies’ Conspiracies

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad assured that "the solidarity between the Iranian and Lebanese people that thwarted the enemies' conspiracies," underscoring the relations between the Iranian and Lebanese peoples.

During a telephone call with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Ahmadinejad pointed out that "the latest contradictory incidents of the United States have proved that the Iranian stances towards the US are right. He further assured that the arrogant powers want to impose their hegemony over the region, and do not want any stability or security for the people of the region.
On his part, Speaker Berri stressed the importance of enhancing unity and solidarity among the peoples of the region. "The Lebanese people are determined to enhance relations with the Iranian people," Berri said.
