Sheikh Qaouk: Resisting Lebanon Refuses to Meddle in Syrian Internal Affairs

Hizbullah Executive Council Deputy Sheikh Nabil Qaouk stressed that "the Lebanese Judiciary should immediately uncover the extent of Future Party's involvement in conspiring against Syria, its stability, and national unity." He assured that "the resisting Lebanon refuses to meddle in Syrian internal affairs, and condemns such (Future party) involvement, as it is a major involvement after this party stabbed the resistance in the back."
During a memorial service in Kafra village, Sheikh Qaouk considered "This party is in a state of anxiety, confusion, and strategic loss." He stressed that "since 2005, the movement has not shied away from targeting Syria the same way it targeted the Resistance, in fact its campaign against Syria is aimed at weakening the Resistance."
"Future party's involvement is the greatest national sin as it has gotten embroiled in a project that is greater than it and this will definitely affect Lebanon's national interest," he pointed out.
"Where is the priority in Lebanon? Is it to target the resistance, Syria, Iran or what? And why does the Future party try to engage Lebanon in a war with Syria or Iran? To whose favor is that?" he Hizbullah official asked.
Sheikh Qaouk noted "The Future Party movement's involvement is documented in confessions that were broadcast by the Syrian official TV, and is supported by the Wikileaks cables that assure this involvement of targeting Syria since the year 2005," questioning "Is this how the Lebanese repay Syria for its support to the Resistance?"
On another note, Sheikh Qaouk addressing the government formation process said that the other camp is openly confronting Prime Minister-designate Najib Miqati's attempts to form a government in order for it to return to power. "But the equation has changed, the masks fell, and that the hand stabbing the resistance in the back is exposed and uncovered. The war it is waging will fail because it represents fraud in Lebanon and it is not qualified to govern," he stated.
"The March 14 team bears the major responsibility of the suffering of the Lebanese people since 2005. The Wikileaks cables come as a proof to the US is the master of conspiracies against the resistance and Syria," Sheikh Qaouk explained, adding that those confronting the resistance in Lebanon are nothing but tools to the US scheme."
Furthermore, Sheikh Qaouk stressed that "the March 14 was not honest with the resistance in its ministerial statements and commitments since 2005." He added that [March 14] lost the government because they stabbed the resistance in the back, this while the resistance became only more political and politically enrooted; also its military power grew to become widely supported on the popular and parliamentary levels.
