Fadlalah: We Refuse to Use Lebanon against Syria

Member of Parliament in the Loyalty to Resistance bloc Hassan Fadlallah considered that "The European and US sanctions and resolutions against Syria aim at finishing a historical account with the Syrian leadership and people because this country does not agree to be subjected to coercion, intimidation, pressure or to change its policy."
"Lebanon will neither be a tool in the hands of the United States to target Syria nor a field through which US overlooks to besiege Syria, or to impose sanctions on or to conspire against Syria." Fadlallah said.
In his speech in a festival celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Liberation and Resistance Day, Fadlallah acknowledged "It is true that there are some abettors who were quick to translate the US position as incitements against Syria through deception, interfering, and agitation but these do not represent our country and they alone bear the burden of what they are doing, and the burden of this dangerous game they are playing in Lebanon."
"Those who are betting on a change and on a certain transformation are running behind illusions and mirages thinking they can submit their credentials to the United States to have a role and function by targeting Syria. From the beginning, and since 2005, they declared hostility to the Syrian people and opened a racist letter against Syria and its people. They do not have any jealousy or any love or any defense of freedom for this Syrian people and their rights that they have been violating in Lebanon. "
Moreover, Fadlalah asked "How did they treat the Syrian workers in Lebanon? How did they kill them? How did they racially incite on the Syrian people in Lebanon? Now, they are betting to have a role in the American and Western campaign on Syria, assuring that "we refuse to have in Lebanon any role against this brotherly country. We do not want anyone to interfere in this matter. Did not they utter a speech over the years that they reject what they call the Syrian interference in Lebanon, do they believe that this is their chance to reach a level to interfere in the affairs of a brotherly country? What are they betting on?"
At the level of the internal situation, Fadlallah stressed that Hizbullah will continue to make an effort so that all parties reach a compromise on an appropriate formula to solve this governmental issue. "We passed the most difficult complexes, but some details we do not consider as basics or as worthy to waste time remain to appear."He clarified.
"People want a new government that is able to face the big challenges around us and to mitigate the problems. Delay is no longer justified and we must accelerate to get out of all these small details in the interest of our country and people." Fadlalah concluded.
