Raad: Hizbullah Committed to All Agreements since Signing of Taef
Local Editor
The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohamad Raad said on Friday that Hizbullah has been committed to all agreements the Lebanese have reached since the Taef Accord (in 1989) up-to-date.
"We are not supporters of spiteful and vengeful acts," Raad said adding "We have accomplished modest victories of which every time we achieve one, we became only more modest." He reiterated that Hizbullah extended its hand to the others so that they can share these victories with the resistance.
MP Raad, during a ceremony commemorating Imam Ali (a.s) birth, said that "The Resistance achievement is divine and historic, as well as strategic as it is in the heart of the regional equation in face of the American and European schemes." On the other hand, Raad assured that the "Israeli' enemy now fears it will come to an end very soon.
Addressing regional developments, Raad remarked that "the revolts in the Arab world are a result of the growing spirit of resistance that was fueled by the sweat of the heroes of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon."
Also, Raad noted that there have been different "Israeli" reports on the strength and capability of the resistance in Lebanon, which is a message to "Israel" that there is no hope for any success in a military attack on Lebanon, particularly because of the Resistance's readiness.
