End of June, Freedom Flotilla 2 in Gaza

"Israel's" Navy says it will not allow a new international flotilla of ships to break the blockade on the impoverished Gaza Strip and reached the coastal sliver.
Navy head Vice Admiral Eliezer Marom said ""Israel's" navy is going ahead with preparations to stop a planned flotilla slated to attempt to break the blockade on Gaza in two weeks", Ha'aretz reported on Monday.
Claiming that the flotilla's goal is to cause a confrontation with the Zionist soldiers, Marom said that "de-legitimization of "Israel" " is another objective of the flotilla activists.
He called on world leaders to "impose all their authority to prevent the departure of this needless, provocative flotilla."
The enemy's navy, however, failed to notice that the "Israeli"-imposed blockade on the Gaza Strip has been internationally recognized as illegitimate and condemned for turning the strip into an open-air prison.
Some 1,500 activists are expected to take part in the12 ships convoy that will sail for Gaze at the end of June. The convoy aims to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip one year after a deadly "Israeli" raid on a similar fleet.
The large vessel fleet includes North American ships, half Canadian and half from the United States. The official authorities in the ports are to inspect all ships and give them a certificate of being free of any prohibited materials.
The importance of the second flotilla to Gaza lies in the way it was established. This flotilla has been collecting donations from people in public campaigns involving coordination among associations, parties and trade unions that do not usually launch such huge campaigns in this time span.
In France, for example, more than six hundred thousand Euros have been collected over nearly a year, more than ninety percent of them donated by the citizens of the poor, because the value of the donation does not exceed twenty Euros. The organization emphasized that all the donors are owners of these ships, and although they are not sailing, their eyes and hearts embrace the ships.
