Two Syrian army members were martyred and two officers were severely wounded at the hands of an armed terrorist group which targeted a military bus that was transporting a number of military officers and soldiers to their work posts, a Syrian military source announced Thursday.

The terrorists fired at the bus with machine guns and heavy weapons from the surrounding orchards along Aleppo-Homs highway.

"Any aggression on the army members and armed forces is an aggression on the homeland' dignity, security and stability... the response will be decisive and firm to those who think to target our armed forces, the symbol of the homeland's dignity and honor," the source informed SANA.

Meanwhile, Police Member Hayan Ibrahim, a police member and a civilian were martyred at the hands of the armed terrorist groups.

SANA Reporter in Homs said that 40 persons were wounded by the bullets of the armed groups among them 32 law-enforcement members and 8 civilians.

The Army units interfered and sealed off the region to hunt the terrorist groups, who attacked civilians, broke off roads in those neighborhoods and terrified the citizens.
