Feltman Continues Attacking Syria
Local Editor
In its continuous verbal attack on Syria, US claimed that the "Syrian president Bashar al-Assad isn't going to survive the 5-month long uprising against his regime."
"He can't win this," said US head of the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs Jeffery Feltman.
"In Syria, a committed, peaceful grassroots opposition movement has rapidly emerged in response to the Assad regime's brutality," "Israel's" friend said claiming that "Assad is exploiting fears of sectarianism and factionalism by surreptitiously fomenting violence of an intentionally sectarian nature, while at the same time cautioning Syrians not to rock his carefully guided boat."
"The European Union and other nations have joined the United States in enacting sanctions on key regime figures in Iran and Syria to hold their leaders accountable for the violence. We continue to urge more nations to join our call," Feltman said in his statement before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
