The Foreign Affairs and Security Committee in the "Israeli" Knesset stated that the latest Palestinian bid to the UN seeking international recognition as an independent state next September, will surely worsen "Israel's" position internationally.

The committee will later this month publish a report prepared by a team headed by Member of Knesset Yohanan Plasner.
According to the Jerusalem Post daily, the "Israeli" agency Mossad believes that restarting the stalled peace process could block the Palestinian initiative at the UN.

The daily added that "Israelis" are stating their willingness to accept a Palestinian State with 1967 borders; however they still insist that the Palestinian must recognize "Israel" as a "Jewish State".
Moreover, the Zionist enemy is exploiting all means of pressure power on international authorities to convince Palestine to quit its UN statehood bid, holding extensive talks with US and EU officials.

As the Palestinians seem to be consistent in bidding for statehood at the UN next September, they also quit talks with the "Israeli" entity due to the latter's ongoing violations executed in eastern al-Quds (Jerusalem).
