Following a series of rocket firing in recent days, the "Israeli" War Ministry decided to re-station the Iron Dome rocket interception system in the occupied southern city of Asqalan (Ashkelon), Yedioth Ahronoth news website reported.

The War Ministry informed the Asqalan (Ashkelon) Municipality on Friday that it will re-station the Iron Dome, after demands from the city's Mayor Benny Vaknin and some residents to return the system to the area.
Moreover, the Zionist daily added that the demands came after a Grad rocket landed near the city Wednesday night, causing light damages. A resident from the occupied city expressed surprise that the system was removes, saying that it was a bit of a risk.

The Grad rocket was believed to be fired from the Gaza Strip by Hamas' Qassam resistance brigade. "Israeli" warplanes retaliated by carrying out five raids on Gaza, causing injuries and several damages.
