"Israeli" occupation forces have attacked Palestinian and international activists protesting against the construction of an illegal barrier in the West Bank.

Dozens of protesters were also arrested during the anti-wall demonstration in the village of Walaja where "Israel" had uprooted dozens of trees to pave the way for the construction of the barrier.

The controversial separation barrier cuts Palestinian villagers off from vast stretches of their land and separates the West bank from the rest of the occupied territories.

"Israel's" apartheid wall has annexed around 60 percent of Bilin. Every week, "Israeli" soldiers block the path of the peaceful protesters and fire tear gas and at times rubber-coated steel bullets at protesters, trying to approach the construction site of the apartheid wall.
