"Israeli" daily Ma'ariv stated that "Israel" has offered a $100,000 compensation for each family of the nine Turkish victims of the Mavi-Marmara; however "Israel" provided that Turkey withdraws its demand for an apology.

The Hebrew-written daily stated that this step came amid efforts to repair relations with Turkey.
The "Israeli" offer hasn't yet been made formally, and Turkey until now has not yet responded to the offer, Ma'ariv added.
Reports indicated that the new "Israeli" compensation offer is double its original, which was $50,000 for each family of the nine-victims.

On May 31, 2010, the Turkish-led Freedom Flotilla set sail to Gaza, and the Mavi-Marmara was the biggest ship among them. The "Israeli" enemy attacked the ship and assaulted its passengers, leading to the martyrdom of 9 Turkish activists.
