Hizbullah, PSP Deny Claims of Hizbullah Military Deployment in Mount Lebanon
Hizbullah and the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) issued the following statement:
Some local and Arab media outlets have published and broadcasted information and analyses referring to a Hizbullah security or military deployment in areas of Mount Lebanon. These claims aim at shaking the relation between Hizbullah and the PSP.
Both parties decisively deny the existence of such movement and confirm sharing a natural good relation.
Furthermore, both parties affirm their mutual efforts in promoting and developing their relation through regular consultation and coordination, and in approaching all political issues in a spirit of shared responsibility and concern for the stability.
Hizbullah and the PSP hope to continue what they began in 2008, with the positive results that appeared in this regard in more than one level.
