After Spanish Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez expressed her country's support to a Palestinian bid for statehood at the UN in September, the "Israeli" regime expressed shock and despair over the aforementioned stance.

The Zionist entity formally protested on Monday Spain's official expressed of optimist that the next month EU Foreign Ministers meeting would yield progress towards the issue, Reuters reported.
Spokesman of the "Israeli" foreign ministry, Yigai Palmor announced on Monday that the Spanish Ambassador to the Zionsit entity, Alvaro Iranzo was summoned to the foreign ministry, stressing that the "Israeli" regime is in a state of complete amazement and disappointment over the remarks.

The "Israeli" officials expressed serious concerns to Iranzo regarding a possible Palestinian state recognition at the UN.

This comes amid preparations by the Palestinians to bid for statehood at the UN Security Council next September.
