A senior "Israeli" war official said on Sunday that "Israel" would not be able to halt Iran's alleged "reported quest for atomic weapons" with a single strike, Reuters reported.

"Israel" and the West claim suspicions that Iran might be trying to use its nuclear program to develop atomic weapons; claims which Iran has always denied indicating that its aim is to generate electricity.
Since these claims have been taking place, both the "Israeli" enemy and the US have been stating that they might consider taking military action as a last resort to stop Iran from possessing a nuclear bomb.

"We're not talking about Iraq or Syria where one strike would derail a program", the senior "Israeli" war officer stated. He also referred to "Israel's" 1981 airstrike that destroyed Iraq's atomic reactor, and the bombing of a Syrian site in 2007.
"With Iran it's a different project. There is no one silver bullet you can hit and that's over", Reuters further quoted the Zionist officer as saying.

Furthermore, the Zionist official stated that the US is more likely to stand a better chance of forcing Iran to change its mind over its nuclear program than "Israel".

Although "Israel" has always accused Iran of attaining nuclear weapons, which has not been proven so far, "Israel" is believed to have the only nuclear arsenal in the Middle East, and the US possesses the most powerful nuclear arsenal in the world.
