Abadi: We Stand By Syria, Welcome Reform Steps of President Assad

Iran's Ambassador to Beirut Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi assured that "Iran stands next to Syria and welcomes the steps Syrian President Bashar Al Assad has done so far regarding the reform plan in a calm atmosphere and away from foreign interference and pressure."

The ambassador noted that "The pressure and threats against the regime in Syria indicates that enemy schemes do not enjoy support on the internal arena in Syria."
