Egyptian Prime Minister Issam Sharaf stated that a peace deal with "Israel" was not sacred and would be changed for the benefit of peace or the region, Reuters reported.

Sharaf's remarks came in an interview with a Turkish Television Channel, where they were considered to be the strongest yet against the "Israeli" enemy by the new Egyptian government.
"The Camp David agreement is not a sacred thing and is always open to discussion with what would benefit the region and the case of fair peace... and we could make a change if needed", Egyptian PM indicated.

After former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted, the relations between Egypt and the "Israeli" entity witnessed a fall back, which increased after a cross border "Israeli" attack that killed three Egyptian soldiers.
