Egyptian Facebook Activists to Raid US Embassy
The Palestine Today news website reported that an Egyptian Facebook campaign urged a raid on the US Embassy in Cairo if the US Vetoed the Palestinian bid got statehood at the UN Security Council.
According to Iranian Fars News Agency, Palestine Today indicated that the campaign is against President Barack Obama, who is now considered to be a "liar" who supports the "Israelis" in their "blatant violation of the Arab nations' rights".
"The Egyptian youths said the attack on the US Embassy would serve as a strong message in response to the US hegemonic policies", the reported read.
Furthermore, the report also added that the social network youth planning the campaign, warned the US to refrain from vetoing the Palestinian bid, stating that such US move could encourage violence in the world.
Last month, after an "Israeli" raid killed three Egyptian soldiers at the Rafah border crossing, Egyptians staged mass protests outside the "Israeli" embassy in Cairo, leading the escape of the Ambassador and his staff members.
