UN Urges “Israel” to Stop Attacks Against Palestinians

The UN human rights office called on the "Israeli" entity to stop allowing attacks by settlers against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, the Associated Press reported.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights spokesman, Rupert Colville affirmed that "Israel" has a legal obligation to "protect Palestinian civilians and property in the occupied Palestinian territory".
Colville stressed on Tuesday that "Israeli" settlers' attack Palestinian civilians should be investigated, and the victims and their families should be compensated.
On this level, Colville noted that the attacks that have escalated since the beginning of September were "emblematic of the phenomenon of settler violence throughout the West Bank".
He recalled the brutal incidents where an "Israeli" soldier killed a Palestinian civilian in the West Bank village of Qusra, in addition to uprooting of 200 olive trees in the same village.
