Meeting Lebanese SSNP Delegation, Al-Assad: Syria Overcame Hardest Stage
Local Editor
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad reviewed discussed Wednesday with a delegation of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) in Lebanon the plots seeking to divide and dominate the region and control its resources.
"Syria has been able to overcome the hardest stage thanks to its people's awareness," al-Assad stressed clarifying that "Syria that is committed to its principles, Arabism and patriotism, would turn to an example to be followed in the
region."
For its part, the delegation, headed by SSNB Chairman Assaad Hardan, expressed its confidence that Syria will succeed in encountering all attempts aiming at undermining its stability as well as its national and Arab approach.
The meeting also tackled the importance of activating the role of pan-Arab parties, being means for boosting the pan-Arab movement and the patriotic feeling of the Arab citizen to encounter the foreign conspiracies which try to exploit what is taking place in the region to weaken the national and pan-Arab thought which constitutes a basis of Arab people's strength
