“Free Cyber Activists” Support Global March to al-Quds
The Global March to al-Quds (Jerusalem), which is planned to take place in March 2012, received boost recently after the "International Association of free Cyber Activists" declared its full support to the march, IRNA reported.
The free cyber activists affirmed they would mobilize their efforts and networks in order to make the march a success.
The said association was formed recently in October, on the sidelines of the International Digital Media Fair held in Tehran. Some 50 cyber activists are members of the association, coming from many countries including Italy, France, Australia, Chili, Cuba, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Norway, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon, UAE, Bosnia, and UK.
Interim Secretary of the "International Association of free Cyber Activists", Said Jamal Dawoud, indicated, "The association members declared their full support for the Global March to al-Quds (Jerusalem)".
"The founding members expressed their deep concerns about the situation in the holy city and the "Israeli" authorities actions to change its demography", Dawoud noted.
During the last day of their October summit, members of the association discussed the importance of raising awareness about the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
"The members discussed the best practical ways to actively participate in the march. These could include mobilizing cyber networks, producing films and clips about the issue and posting them online", the interim secretary added.
He further indicated that the association plans to organize forums and exhibitions to encourage people to participate in the global march.
